FleetNet™ Radio Network
The Nation’s Largest Digital Radio Network
The FleetNet™ Digital radio network offers its subscribers access to the largest private digital radio network in the United States. Whether your Communications’ needs are for group, collaborative Communications or one-to-one individual talk or alerts, our system will support your operations.
Built for business communications: Our FleetNet Digital Radio Network is built for businesses and customized for your exact requirements.
Local, state-wide and regional coverage: Our FleetNet Digital Radio Network uses the NXDN protocol. This is a widely supported open standard Common Air Interface (CAI) for mobile communications. As well as providing wider coverage, FleetNet delivers clear voice quality even over potentially unreliable communications channels and in the noisiest environments. RF signal strength weakens with distance, which is why analog reception becomes increasingly noisy and intermittent. A digital NXDN signal is audible at a greater range than is possible with an analog signal. The low Bit Error Rate (BER) of NXDN also improves reception even in fringe areas. Coverage is expanded by as much as 20% over FM analog, resulting in a 50% increase in the coverage area for digital 6.25 kHz. NXDN digital can recover audio from a weak signal by analyzing the transmission and filling in the missing pieces with the use of Forward Error Correction (FEC), further extending range.
Fixed costs: Our FleetNet radios are available at every price point, making them available to a broad range of users. Monthly fees are competitive and fixed over a period of time.
Security: Our FleetNet Digital Radio Network offers inherent security against casual electronic eavesdropping via its NXDN™ digital air interface. It also includes NXDN™ voice & data scrambling for security against external intrusion while providing confidentiality within the same system and talk group.
Clarity: FleetNet offers crisp, clear and loud audio with all its two-way radio products. Our programming software includes audio equalizers for reception and transmission, allowing customizable audio for each individual subscriber unit.
Compliant: Talk one to many with the push of a button. Faster than speed dial and compliant with the US Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
